Mrs Collins POV
After coming back from the boutique where i went to get some cloths for AJ. I sent for him to come and have lunch. I really needed to talk to him. I want to know what he wants for himself. After i told him we neede to talk, i could see fear in his eyes, he was scared probably because he doesnt know what we want to talk about. I needed to speak with him privately, so i had to tell my daughters to go and visit their friends in the next compound, i needed some privacy with AJ.

After i told him we neede to talk, i could see fear in his eyes, he was scared probably because he doesnt know what we want to talk about. I needed to speak with him privately, so i had to tell my daughters to go and visit their friends in the next compound, i needed some privacy with AJ.
AJ’s POV
When she told me we needed to talk, i was d--n scared. When she then told her daughters to excuse us, it only got me scarier. I had to man up, i dont think i have anything to loose again. When her daughters left, she looked up to me and told me to sit very well.
‘Alex’ she started, ‘ am sure you might have been wondering why i wanted to speak with you. What are the plans you have for your self, what are you ambitions? she asked me. I had always wanted to be a pilot, but right now i will gladly accept whatever comes my way i replied. She looked at me and nodded her head. I will love to finish my secondary education first, from there i’ll find what to do with my life, i further stated.
AJ, she called am ready to send you through secondary school and through higher institution if you’ll be a good boy she said to me. I looked at her bursted into tears and prostrated before her. I didnt know how to thank her, I promise to be a good boy I said to her. She patted me and told me to sit up. You are my Child she said to me, your father was a very good friend of mine, there is no cause for alarm she said, i was shocked on hearing that.
There are still some things you have to tell me. She went upstairs and brought some pictures. She gave them to me and asked if i knew those people, i looked at her confused and replied No. Look at the pictures closely she said to me, i looked very well and found out they were the so called friends of my Dad who murdered him in cold blood. Do you recognise them? Her voice brought me back from my thinking. Yes i replied. Are they the one? She asked again, I dont know, i didnt see their faces, I lied. Its alright, but if you need anything dont hesitate to tell me. You are now my son, she said to me. Thank you ma, i replied. I left to for my room.

After i had spoken with AJ about his education, i showed him the picture i had with me and studied him closely, i was dissapointed at him saying he doesnt know if they are the murderers of Kingsley Davis. I had planned on sending him out of the country after his secondary education. I dont want my husband to come from Cyprus and be questioning me.
Continued from AJ’s POV
On getting to my room after our discussion, i laid on the bed and thought about what she told me, i still cant know why i lied to her about not knowing the murderers of my father. After so much thinking i slept off. I woke up sometimes later, i went out and met Tania in the sitting room, i sat down with her and got talking. Tania and i got along well, we had a lot of interests in common, it was from her i learnt her dad travelled and won’t be back for like two years..
Months passed and i enjoyed my living the Collins, i and Tania were attended the same school and we grew very close. A YEAR AND HALF ON, i had finished my Secondary education and i had nothing doing. Mrs Collins had told me one day that after my secondary education I’ll be schooling abroad. The day had come for me to travel out, i could see that Tania was moody. I couldnt thank Mrs Collins enough for what she has done for me. She had given me the best platform to carry out my revenge. She drove to the airport two hours to departure, I said my goodbyes to them all, i hugged Mrs Collins in tears and muttered a thank you amidst tears, i proceeded to hug Tina who smiled at me and told me to be a good boy and Lastly Tania who was still moody. I hugged her the longest, she looked up at me and said into my hearing ‘I love you AJ, don’t forget me, I’ll be waiting for you’. I nodded at her. We were brought back to reality by the sound of Tina clearing her throat. You wouldn’t want to miss your plane, would you AJ? No i responded. I bade them goodbye and was checked into the plane. Our plane took off some 15 minutes later.
